Starting Empire Melts has been something that we have both really enjoyed, far more than either of us were expecting to. One day when we had burnt down our last candle, we just decided to just pick up a bag of wax and the next thing you know, family and friends are burning our candles and melts.
Everybody loved them and thats when we started to think about taking things further, so with nothing more than a little imagination and creativity we decided to share our new-found passion with the world by opening this candle store to sell soy candles and wax melts!
Experimenting with different scents and colours has certainly been our favourite part of it all, but we were very conscious of keeping things clean and eco-friendly, hence our use of soy wax and cruelty-free wicks, dyes, fragrances etc.
From ensuring our products are eco-friendly and smelling great, to running the website, shipping orders and engaging with our audience, it turns out there is a lot of work to do! But we love what we do and genuinely hope that you find a scent that you adore!
